A six-SKU trial without a container-sized commitment
A US boutique started with six amethyst designs at 20 pieces each — enough to test color and price point on a real shelf, not in a spreadsheet. Sample set of three pieces arrived in five days; bulk shipped in 13 days.
Copper Speed
Two reorders inside one holiday window
A gift line needed a fast second run after a sell-out. Copper at 100 pieces per design was completed in seven days, plated in a single bath and rack run, so the second batch matched the first.
Setting & Cut Match
The stone was fine — the setting was wrong
A four-prong setting was shading a faceted amethyst and reading flat in photos. We moved the design to a low bezel with a rose cut, which also used flatter rough. Yield moved from the low 80s to the high 90s on the same quote.
Compliance File
Cleared customs with the paperwork already in the box
A German buyer needed nickel-release documentation before entry. The batch-level 925 purity report and REACH compliance file shipped with the first order — it cleared without a hold, and without a follow-up email.
Confidential Design
One design, one buyer — and it stayed that way
The client supplied an original sketch under NDA. The piece has not appeared in another catalogue, quote or sample box since — three reorders later, the design is still exclusive.
Reorder Economics
The second run was cheaper and eleven days
Four silver SKUs accumulated 480 pieces across two orders, which returned the mold fee. With the mold, stone lot and plating recipe already locked, the reorder ran eleven days instead of fifteen.
